The Executive Secretariat for Communication (SEC) launches its new page on the Unicamp Portal this Friday (11). The new space brings together the University's various communication and information products and services, such as reports published in the Unicamp Journal , institutional news from the Unicamp Portal and audiovisual content from Unicamp Radio and TV, as well as access to the collection formed since 1976 by materials produced at the University and contact channels for serving the media. The SEC page can be accessed in the top menu of the Unicamp Portal, in the “Communication” tab, then Communication at the University or at www.sec.unicamp.br.

“Although responsible for managing the Unicamp Portal, where news and content are published, the SEC is also a university body. Therefore, launching the new page is important to make our materials more accessible and to provide transparency to our work,” says Márcio Cataia, coordinator of the SEC. “Certainly, this should improve the experience of users seeking our services.”

Upon accessing the page, users will find highlights from articles in the Unicamp Journal and institutional news from the Unicamp Portal, access to PDF editions of the newspaper's print version, and links for quick access to the Portal and newspaper homepages , the Unicamp TV channel on YouTube, the repository of audio content produced by Radio Unicamp since 2013, and the SEC Archive, which brings together all the print, audiovisual, and digital media produced since 1976. It is also possible to access the Press Channel, which broadcasts sessions of Unicamp's deliberative bodies, ceremonies, and events. "The aim is for the new page to offer easy access to all of SEC's communication products," summarizes Laura Freitas Rodrigues, IT coordinator of the secretariat.

The development of the new SEC page is part of the Websites for All project, from the Executive Directorate of Information and Communication Technology. This is a corporate solution for institutional websites for central administration bodies, centers and departments, teaching and research units, and technical colleges of the university. Currently, the project encompasses 87 university websites.
