The Unicamp Technology-Based Business Incubator (Incamp) has opened applications for its incubation programs. Applications are open until October 9th and are aimed at startups and individuals interested in undertaking technology-based projects in any field of knowledge, without needing to be affiliated with Unicamp. Submissions must be made through the Incamp website.
Those interested should choose one of the options offered by Incamp: pre-incubation, lasting up to twelve months, aimed at entrepreneurs who have projects in the initial stages, still in the ideation or development phase, and who seek to structure and validate their business models; or incubation, lasting up to three years, which is suitable for entrepreneurs who already have a technology-based company or who are in the process of creating one and seek improvement in management or business training.
Candidates can also choose between resident and non-resident options, with choices including laboratory, office, or co-working space at the Unicamp Science and Technology Park, to which Incamp is affiliated, or remote work.
Approved entrepreneurs and startups will have access to training focused on business development, such as management, marketing, and sales, as well as mentoring and specialized support offered by the Inova Unicamp Innovation Agency team , responsible for managing the Incubator, and by Incamp partners. The programs aim to accelerate the growth of ventures and expand their opportunities to connect with the innovation ecosystem.
The registration fee for submitting each proposal is R$ 350. Finalists of the Unicamp Challenge business modeling competition and alumni of the Inova Entrepreneurship course (codes AM037 or TP386) may request a fee waiver, provided they present documentation proving their participation in the final stage of the competition or completion of the course.
