Unicamp will celebrate its 60th anniversary in 2026, and this edition of UPA will be an opportunity for the entire community to celebrate with us. “UPA is a fundamental activity, showcasing the university to the entire community, and this will be a very important edition,” highlights the general coordinator of Unicamp, Fernando Santos Coelho. “With the theme 'Time of Connections', we intend to value our history and the trajectory of the people and institutions that built Unicamp, which is today one of the best universities in Latin America. It is also a time to project the future of the institution, so that it is full of connections that guarantee excellence in teaching, research, outreach, and innovation,” added Coelho.
“We have very high expectations for this edition of UPA, which celebrates Unicamp's 60th anniversary. Not only because we are preparing a series of new features, but also because we have great involvement from our units, who want and enjoy participating,” points out the general coordinator.
Throughout the day, visitors will be able to participate in guided tours of Unicamp's faculties and institutes, as well as visit laboratories, research centers, libraries, projects, extension activities, and other spaces that make up university life. Lectures, workshops, discussion groups, and recreational activities on various topics will be offered. Services offered by the University to its students will also be presented, along with information about the Unicamp 2027 entrance exam and other access methods.

Open Applications
Registration for UPA 2026 is free and aimed at schools and educational institutions. In addition to schools, NGOs, community preparatory courses, social projects, and other institutions can also register. The event organizers request that interested schools register in advance to allow for management of capacity and parking spaces for buses and vans, ensuring an enriching and enjoyable experience for students. However, individual visits or visits in family and friend groups are free and welcome. In this case, registration is not necessary.
