The Rectorate of Unicamp reiterates that it remains fully cooperating with the investigations of the Federal Police (PF) in conducting the inquiry that resulted in the arrest in flagrante, on the afternoon of this Monday (23), of a suspect of involvement in the theft of research material from the Laboratory of Virology and Applied Biotechnology of the Institute of Biology (IB) of the University.
At the same time, the Federal Police executed two search and seizure warrants, issued by the 9th Federal Court of Campinas, which enabled the location of the stolen material, already forwarded to the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (Mapa) for analysis.
