
The Provisional Committee responsible for the constitution of the Association of African Students of Unicamp (AEAU) published, this Wednesday (23), the Notice of Call for the General Assembly that was scheduled for August 22, 2025, at 19:00 pm, at the University's Arena Theater.
According to the commission, the creation of the AEAU represents a fundamental milestone in strengthening diversity, representation, and the active participation of African students in university life, in accordance with the principles of internationalization, inclusion, and equity that guide Unicamp's mission.
The association is a non-profit organization whose goals include promoting integration and mutual support among African students at the University. The institution also serves as a support network, helping students adapt to academic and cultural life. Furthermore, the organization aims to represent the interests and needs of African students before the University administration.

Notice of convocation for the assembly of the Association of African Students of Unicamp
As decided at the meeting held on June 6, 2025, electing a Provisional Committee to promote the foundation and construction of the statute of this entity, carrying out the necessary procedures for its organization and due institutional registrations, it is hereby, convene all African students at Unicamp for the assembly to be held on August 22, 2025, Friday, at 19 p.m., Teatro Arena, R. Elis Regina, Cidade Universitária, 13083-859, to discuss and deliberate on the following agenda items:
a) Reading, discussion and approval of the entity's statute;
b) Election of the board of directors to exercise the entity’s first term.
