How to get to Campinas

 

The two simplest ways to get to Campinas are either by landing in Rio de Janeiro International Airport (Tom Jobim/Galeão) and getting a connexion to Campinas Airport (Viracopos), or by landing at São Paulo International Airport (Guarulhos/Cumbica), and taking a transfer bus to Campinas (about 2h directly downtown). Taxi cabs are also available from São Paulo to the venue (for about R$ 350,00).
 

For those arriving at the São Paulo International Airport (Guarulhos/Cumbica):

There is a shuttle bus at Terminal 2, Wing C (Caprioli enterprise). The timetable can be seen here for the São Paulo Airport to Campinas Bus Station trip. The ticket costs about R$ 35.00, and it will take about 2h to arrive in Campinas Bus Station.

A taxi cab can be taken from Campinas Bus Station to the venue. It is a 20 minute drive and costs about R$ 60.00.
 

For those arriving at Viracopos Airport, in Campinas:

There is a shuttle bus from the Airport to Campinas Bus Station. The bus timetable can be seen here. The ticket costs about R$ 10.00, and the ride takes about 25 minutes .

A taxi cab can be taken from the Bus Station to the venue. It is a 20 minute drive and costs about R$ 60.00.

Another option is to take a taxi straight from Campinas Airport to the venue. It takes about 25 minutes and costs about R$ 45,00.
